CN 9401 FA1

This is a Life-Like Proto 1000 F unit in the old CN livery. Originally these units were painted in a gold metallic paint, as this model has, but it became too hard to maintain so they switched to non-metallic CN Gold - a yellowish colour. The handrails on the model are plastic and at that thickness they look unrealistic as do the 2 air horns on the roof. I will be replacing these with metal parts in time.
